Car Accident Lawsuit Settled
A civil lawsuit has been settled against a wrecking company when the driver of one of their rigs, driving under the influence, slammed into an automobile pushing it to the edge of the road, causing serious injuries to a mother and her two daughters inside. The collision left the car dangling over a bridge.
The settlement brought the end to a lawsuit that had gone on since early 2013. The settlement of $1 million will be divided between the young mother and her two young daughters, all injured in the crash.
The driver of the big rig that caused the crash was killed in the accident.
The lawsuit asked for compensation for personal injuries, emotional distress and medical expenses. In addition, the husband of the auto’s driver won compensation for loss of love, companionship, affection, society and solace of his wife caused by the accident.
It was determined that the driver of rig that slammed into the car was under the influence of methamphetamine and amphetamine. You can learn more here…
