Child Born with Defects, US Government to Blame
Personal injury lawyers are on the case…
The controversy surrounding a childbirth at a US army facility in California has had its fair share of aggressors. A doctor’s careless use of a vacuum extraction during the birth left the child permanently disabled. Now the parents are asking for more than $50 million dollars in damages, seeing as how they’re child will have to grow up with this affliction.
When the mother went into contractions the baby’s fetal heart displayed a “persistent non-reassuring pattern” and the doctor claimed C-section was necessary. The lawsuit explains that the vacuum extraction caused a brain hemorrhage and brain damage that will adversely affect the baby’s development, impairment, and create cerebral palsy and seizure disorders.
